Alberdingk Boley have just announced commercialisation of Alberdingk OP 100, a urethane modified oil polymer.   This innovative product contains more than 80% renewable resources while offering much improved chemical and mechanical properties compared with natural oils.  The range of applications for this product is very broad, either alone, as a 2k system or as a modifier for solvent based products.   The press release from Alberdingk giving further details is available here.
